The Jordan Ultra Fly 2 has Released Overseas

The Jordan Ultra Fly 2 has begun to pop up at overseas retailers.

The team bank colorways of the Jordan Ultra Fly 2 are said to be releasing Stateside July 1. We might see them start to pop up in-store earlier than that, but as of now, if you live in the U.S., I wouldn’t expect to see these available until July.

Tech specs on the Jordan Ultra Fly 2 include a lightweight, knit upper with Fuse overlays that is said to provide containment and allows natural movement. Zoom Air units are located in the forefoot and heel. Webbing lace system in order to provide dynamic lockdown. Lastly, solid rubber outsoles provides multidirectional traction with a linear traction pattern to match the design of the upper. Retail price will be $125.

Design influence is clearly taken from the Air Jordan 15 — like it or not.

Enjoy a detailed look at two upcoming colorways in Black/Red and White/Black below. If you wanted to grab a pair early then you can from the following overseas retailers.

  1. zoom air in the forefoot AND heel? damn, been awhile. I dont mind the aj15, but others will. Hope they end up at outlets so I can cop for the low

  2. Dang forefoot and heel zoom hopefully it will perform . But compare to a full length boost on CE low for 120 hopefully it will feel like the 28’s

  3. I like the white ones. Totally looks like the AJXV. Decent price point for have heel and forefoot Zoom. They will be a good clearance shoe.

  4. I like them, but the upper material *looks* to be almost too soft and the structural side of things looks a bit skimpy…Hopefully that’s just the pics, and not how they are.

  5. Excited about the forefoot and heel zoom. Using a XV style tongue is not a good look, so these may get discounted quickly. If they perform well, I’ll grab a pair for cheap.

  6. I dig that white pair, don’t love that tongue thing, but I think it’ll grow on me a little bit, definitely isn’t a deal breaker for me. Hopefully they perform and maybe drop a little bit around September and maybe I’ll pick em up. Look much better than those ultra flys and they don’t have those dinky zoom pods either. Hopefully there top loaded as well.

    1. I did not notice that! Thanks for the look out. It’s subtle but it makes a whole different feel for it, I love it too.

  7. They seem like they will be better than a lot of other Jordan’s on court, I mean the only other newer basketballball performance shoe from Jordan is the aj31 that has zoom somewhere other than the forefoot.

  8. The white and black pair looks nice! Anyways, I wonder why the Jordan signature models (ex. CP3, Melo) don’t sell as well as Nike signatures (ex. LeBron, KD, Kyrie)?

    1. With a few exceptions, most CP3s and Melos are hideous. They’re also not really “buzzworthy ” players at this point in their careers, where people get excited about their shoes releasing. The biggest factor is that most Jordan fans only care about the retros.

    2. two things, the players and the shoe. as mentioned, most of these shoes look generic and cheapish. there are a few C/W and materials that are really nice. but mostly, the C/W and the aesthetics are just plain bad. I dig both of these shoes though.

  9. i really like this.. sadly i do have a wide foot.. tried this on store.. and bammmm… its a challenge getting my foot in and after 3 or 5 mins later was able to (thats just for my left foot though).. the fit is too tight like hell.. felt like theres no blood circulating on my foot.. lol hahah but yeah wide footers try it on first .. for me it did not work 🙂
