Jordan Team II Will Make a Return

Back in 1998 the Jordan Team II released in the Black/ White – Red colorway…and nobody wanted them except me–at least at my school.

Fast forward 17 years and still, nobody will want them except me…and a select few of us old guys that remember how awesome Team J’s used to be. This was not my favorite colorway due to the giant ‘JORDAN’ writing on the midsole, but the White/ Black – Red & the Navy colorways were freaking gorgeous.  This was back when Team J’s used to use the same exact tech as the signature model, same great quality, but were offered for $110-120 because Jordan didn’t wear them in games. He would wear them at practices though and that was good enough for me.

You can see the Air Jordan 14 emblem near the ankle along with the Air Jordan 13 inspired side panels. Yeah, this was the norm back in the 90’s. Team J’s used exactly what the signatures did, and took design cues from them as well, so you never really felt like you wear wearing an inferior product. Wish I could say the same today, but times have changed.

There is no release date set as of now, but just know that they are coming… and I will get a pair in every OG colorway they release. If they don’t release the Navy pair I might have a tiny fit.

Original colorways I was talking about below.

  1. Loved these, such an underrated shoe. Aesthetically smooth, plus cushy with a nice ride. I hope the quality is solid.

  2. the nostalgia is real with team J’s. my all time favorite was the black/white Jumpman Pros. hopefully they bring those back.

    1. Finally! I kept thinking about the Team I’s and only remembered the silhouette of the Pro’s. Hoping they get included in the “remastered” series, crossing my fingers for the Black-red and Black-blue ones.

Straight up Vin Baker, Eddie Jones, Ray Allen shiz

  3. Best reason to have these, besides the performance, which is sick, it the Cincy Bearcats teams these were worn by. Straight up NASTY men.

  4. oh yes. So funny that so many Style’s were built off my Bearcats. The OG cat Scratch Shorts, the Cut Off T Jersey Cut (doesn’t look good on most people though)the origins of the ELITE graduating Blocks now raped by the Elite Socks. I’m not a Cincy alumni but a Fan of My Laker Thug Nick Van Exel, when I saw that he went to Cincy I started Following the squad then Danny Fortson came through then on Martin and on and on. Most recent the Gumby baller Lance Stephenson but he needs to get his ead on straight or get his ass whooped to get Straightened out.
