Jordan Super.Fly 4 PO ‘Chinese New Year’ | Detailed Look and Review

I have been a well-documented HUGE fan of the Super.Fly line since day one. As a matter of fact, the only one I missed was the Super.Fly 2 PO. Even with some issues (Zoom bag in the 2 popping, the 3 being stiff in the upper) I felt that as an overall, “any type of player” shoe, the Super.Fly line is hard to beat.

Now we come to the Super.Fly 4 PO, specifically the Chinese New Year colorway. The main change is the materials around the heel. Where the SF4 has a mesh and foam backed collar, the PO has leather for better containment and support. The tongue is also changed – where the SF4 has a straight-forward setup, the PO has a burrito-wrap from medial to lateral. All this adds up to a shoe that fits like a glove with almost NO dead space at all and definitely no movement or slipping.I have already put two nights in these and initial fit is greatly improved (although it wasn’t bad in the regular) and the Zoom is more noticeable right out of the box.

I will do a performance review on these but it won’t be a long one since they’re so similar to the original Super.Fly 4 – you can see that performance review here.

If this colorway is a little too much for you, there are some “normal” colors available on Nike.com if you like normal. If not, these are also still available here. Enjoy the images below and as always, leave a comment. Let’s talk.
