Jordan Super.Fly 2 – Up Close & Personal

As mentioned on the Jordan Super.Fly 2 ‘Supernova’ article, the Jordan Super.Fly 2 is possibly their most anticipated hoop shoe from the brand this year… at least since since the XX8.

With these new detailed images, its clear as to why. The Jordan Super.Fly 2 looks freaking amazing! Just look at the traction… then the Flight Plate & HUGE forefoot Zoom Air unit. Wait, what? They have Dynamic Fit too? Ooooh man!

Maybe you aren’t as excited as I am – and that’s alright. However, most will look at these images and think only one thing… when does the game start?

  1. The heel tab kinda looks like the ones they used on the normal cp3.vi so maybe heel lockdown might not be as good but apart from that, these look straight out beast!

    1. I doubt it because its higher, plus, the shape of the collar is going to pull it closer to the rest of your foot

    1. Dude how many times are you gonna ask that question? No the Roshe run is not better for basketball than any of shoes featured on this site past or present, because it is designed for running, not balling. It is unlikely that NW will review them because this is a site dedicated to performance basketball sneakers. The only pair of runners I’ve seen feature here before was the Adidas energy boost. So if you really want him to review it, buy him a pair.

      1. Yah and the only reason he featured adidas’ boost technology ’cause he wants adidas to put it on a basketball shoe, just like a bunch of other people.

  2. Do u think people should stop yelling at adidas for copying hyper fuse when jordan is now using flight plate that everyone loves more than adidas

  3. These look way better than the Hyperdunks for those who like Zoom over Lunarlon. Hope they have zoom in the heel as well.

  4. I like lunarlon over zoom, but these look so good I’m for sure gonna buy a pair of the grey/blue ones. As long as they don’t cost more than 150.

  5. hey nightwing i didn’t see anything mention but wondering if you know about the heel cushion these are going to have

  6. That heel tab configuration is like the CP3.VI’s. Hope the heel lockdown will be better than the CP3.VI with the Dynamic Fit tech. I think those heel tab configurations are better with non-lowtops. What do you think NW?

  7. really hope there will be a heel zoom unit however, by the looks of the shoes the way it built, i guess there is no zoom in the heel, AHHHHHH

  8. Hey nightwing, I’m hyped for the Super.Fly 2 Aswell. I just wanna know if your going to review the Adidas Rose 773 2 ?

    1. He had already mentioned that he won’t, as it is too similar to the Crazyquick that had been reviewed not too long ago.

  9. What’s your opinion on playing basketball in the Nike Zoom Revis? I feel as though even though they’re trainers, these could possibly be top performers on the court, especially with the full length zoom

  10. it would be rather weird if the super fly 2 didn’t have air in the heel, considering it is a shoe that blake griffin will be wearing all season long…i’d imagine that the dude needs cushioning in the heel more than pretty much anybody i can think of

  11. Im hoping for atleast some sort of foam in the heel even if its lunar no heel cushion would be a bummer.

  12. Are any other CW’s releasing July 20th like the “Supernovas”. I think I heard August 1st somewhere but I’m not sure

  13. I am loving these!!! They look similar to the Jordan XX8 SE though, just missing the heel zoom!!

    Will cop these for sure!

  14. I can’t tell what is in the heel, but the forefoot looks great. It is similar to the 28’s, but seems to be missing like the right side of the bag. It is a lot of words, but the bottom of the 28s had the main bag and the side of it was somewhat disconnected from the main bag regardless that looks like a great shoe.
