Jordan Rising Up

Jordan Brand plans on releasing another model that utilizes the Flight Plate and it’s been dubbed the Jordan Rising Up.

These look to feature a Fuse upper, a strand of Dynamic Flywire, and the Flight Plate. They remind me of the Jordan Icon that released a while ago and featured the Air Jordan XX’s tooling. While these don’t share the XX’s tooling, the shape/ design of the tooling looks similar. I’m sure these will be solid performers, but we’re going on our 3rd year of the Flight Plate… maybe it’s time for something new. Or maybe just something new for the Air Jordan XXX.

No release information yet, but let us know your thoughts on the Jordan Rising Up & the possible overused Flight Plate setup below.

  1. Speaking of the Air Jordan XXX, or 30 as I can see some of the more dirtier minded people thinking the shoe is Air Jordan porn or something. Perhaps they should come with materials options for the next flagship shoe? One can be a leather/raw materials based upper, another could be fuse/mesh/whatever the f*ck. Maybe another woven upper later on? I don’t know. It’s the 30th shoe, I hope it stays on par with the last two years flagship models, which have been great.

    1. Bro, as much as I enjoy those kinds of movies (shame on me…I know), I have never once thought about the number like that. Now that you’ve pointed it out, I’m going to see it all the time. LOL!

    2. I was looking for leaks about the Jordan 30 images the other day. I googled “Jordan XXX”, and it came up with porn. I would not have been embarassed….however my Mum was watching. I had a hard time explaining what happend!!!

  2. These actually look really good to me. In the right color ways, this will be fire. Team models moving up.

  3. Why not use the Flight Plate with two regular Air units? The lower priced models could make due with this setup for impact protection for heel strikers. This is a nice looking shoe. Bulls Home/Away/Alternate colorways please.

  4. NW, I am curious to see why you want something besides flight plate? I ve never tried but have heard its great. Do you can’t something besides Lunar, (perhaps lunar 2.00)

  5. Looks like a takedown/synthetic version of the Melo M11. I like that JB is putting more effort into their lower tier models.

  6. Really love the way these look. I also was reminded of the icons when I saw these. And as much as I wanted a pair, at the time I was unable to get them. Now that I’m making my own $, will definitely be keeping these on my radar. Pumped to learn/see more!

  7. If they somehow make their way here i will be trying on a pair.
Hey nightwing you think it would be possible to use a flight plate with full length zoom

  8. Being from that area where this colorway represents, its good implementation of those colors.
For the next Air Jordan, I won’t be surprised if they stick to Flight Plate.

Don’t know if there is enough complaints of lack of Air Heel Cushioning to be brought back.

  9. based on this picture i think these will be a solid performer. Flight plate, and what appears to be unlocked zoom, flywire. seems good overall; except those materials, and no word on traction at this point

  10. I would cop them I love the superflys I could ball in these everyday any day them looks like a mix of the superfly two and melo m11 two of my favorite shoes

  11. If it’s something that’s working why change, those air max pockets have been around a long time too! Can’t wait to check these out in person! Once again thanks for the news!

  12. Yes I agree with the previous comments about how it looks like the melo11, and initially I thought it was the new melo12s.

  13. If flight plate being overused in all jordan shoes, nike need to up their game with their normal zoom based shoes which certain shoes felt lacking

  14. I like these, has that retro feel of the V’s infused with new technology. I may just pop by to check em out when I have the time.

  15. Solid team-shoe, I doubt they’ll be too ‘budget’ though, since Jordan Team-Shoes usually retail at 130-140(just like the CP3, and Super.FLy)
