Jordan CP3.VII – Detailed Look

Jordan CP3.VII - Detailed Look 1

The Jordan CP3.VII looks even better in person than it does in images.

There will be multiple material choices with the colorways coming up so whether you prefer raw materials or modern synthetics; there is bound to be something for everyone. The shoe itself is incredibly lightweight… even the pairs that utilize leather. I assume this is from the new Podulite cushion system. Instead of have huge sections of dual density foam they’ve decided to place it in targeted strike zones so you don’t add weight and it helps with court feel as well. Your forefoot’s main strike zone is covered with a Zoom Air unit much like the Kobe V & VI were. Traction seemed to be fine but we’ll see for sure after they’ve been played in.

So far, this is just my initial impression of the shoe and I like what I’ve seen thus far. Feel free to chime in with your thoughts in the comment section below and stay tuned for more.

  1. Dang it! The achilles pillow is back and that design cue is what messed with heel lock down on the original CP3 VI.

These were a day one cop for me until I took this closer look. Might have to wait for the review or even worse, the playoff model in Spring.

    1. Hopefully my paranoia is just that because it does look like it may cup the heel a little better than last year’s.

  2. lols. the parts of the outsole that are not herringbone are a direct copy of the design found on the lunar hyperdunk 2012

  3. I found the black reds in a shop in Japan last weekend. The shoes are very light. Seem to be constructed well. They didn’t have my size so I couldn’t try them on to try out the fit and cushioning. Aesthetically don’t really do it for me. To each their own….

  4. Beautiful even in the most crazy colourways. They will probably beasts on court. Outsole looks like the traction is going to be A+

  5. I hate the back heel pull in.IT causes chaffing on the heel…CP3 VII AE PE version of the playoff version does this..im sure this done does too
