Is it just me or is this upcoming silhouette a mix of the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 and the Air Max Plus?
The Air Max Jewell is a simple silhouette that, according to Nike, aims for stability and all day, everyday comfort. The shoe is constructed using a one-piece mesh upper and it sits atop memory foam and an Air Max unit in the heel. The outsole gets a rubber waffle pattern.
The Air Max Jewell should be pretty lightweight because the upper looks thin (just look at that tongue) and the outsole seems a bit cored-out. Nike admits that the silhouette is influenced by the Air Max Plus, but I see a HyperAdapt 1.0 look-alike here — with a hint of Air Presto mixed in. Just me?
This latest women’s silhouette will arrive on the SNKRS app on March 8 for $100. If you’re trying for a pair, it goes live at 10:00 AM EST.
Thoughts on the Air Max Jewell? Do y’all want these in men’s sizing?
