The Kobe nostalgia train continues with this throwback colorway of the Nike Air Zoom Huarache 2K4 ‘MPLS’.
The shoe was made to match the throwback Minneapolis Lakers jerseys featuring baby blue and yellow. The colors on the shoes are a little more subdued, with Wolf Grey and University Blue dressing the shoes.
The Huarache 2k4 was a sort of unofficial signature sneaker though, with many people associating the sneaker to the Mamba.
The shoe features Zoom Air units in the heel and forefoot, with classic leather uppers that bring us all back to a time before ‘Fuse and synthetics.
