Get Up Close & Personal with the Jordan CP3.IX

There are a lot of shoes to wear-test and review, and the CP3.IX is one of them. They were originally one of my more anticipated shoes to wear, but after trying them on I’m not quite as thrilled as I had been. Of course, anything can change once I start playing in them – so I’m hoping they break-in quickly so I can feel some of their more notable performance features.

Check out my initial impressions on Chris Paul’s latest signature model, and let me know what you think in the comment section.

  1. in the interview with CP he said there should be no break in time. maybe when he gets his shoes, a tester breaks them in so he does not notice. haha.

    1. that actually wouldnt be a bad question to ask Nike. I remember the Lebron 11 was a hard shoe to play in the first time, but i really enjoyed it after the hyperposite molded to my foot. With players being askes to wear new shoes each gameI wonder if Nike uses higher quality materials for PE or has so break in method.

      1. Watching an older Boston video he had a pair of 22’s a rip Hamilton on court pair and he called that out specifically – not sure if that’s always the case but he couldn’t have been that far off

  2. Hey NW, love these first look vids, glad you are bringing ’em back, cuz it seemed like there weren’t any for a while there. Keep up the great work man!

  3. If they only could go back to the CP3.7 leather upper. They have been my indoor shoe for over a year (2-3x a month) and traction still looks new and works even better. Upper is so soft yet supportive and lockdown is perfect. Very light as well.

    1. That’s a great shoe. I was thinking about getting another pair off of eBay. About a year and a half the heel impact became painful, but before that a great shoe
