Get a Small Preview of adidas D Rose 7 Colorways

Derrick Rose is now a New York Knick, but we’ll still see a few Chicago themed versions of the adidas D Rose 7.

One such colorway is the Black/ Scarlett, and they are one of the best look Black/ Red versions of a D Rose model I’ve seen. It might be because I enjoy the D Rose 7 aesthetically — they’ve grown on me quite a bit — but I’m sure there will be some that disagree. Even though he’ll no longer be a Bull, plenty of brands and signature sneakers drop in popular colorways that aren’t associated to the players team, so don’t assume that you’re forever going to be stuck with Royal/ Orange Rose shoes from here on out.

Just take a look at the next two colorways. None of which have anything to do with the Bulls or Knicks, even though the Medium Grey/ Heather could easily be pulled off at The Garden. Meanwhile, the Ice Blue pair looks like something he’d wear during Christmas or All-Star break — if he makes it to the All-Star game.

Enjoy a small preview of what adidas will be offering when the D Rose 7 hits retail later this year, and let us know if you’re excited to play in a pair. Get a Small Preview of adidas D Rose 7 Colorways 1 Get a Small Preview of adidas D Rose 7 Colorways 2 Get a Small Preview of adidas D Rose 7 Colorways 3

  1. Still interested in these (and I’ll probably buy a pair or two) but I got to be honest…. the Crazylight Boost 2016 has really taken the steam out of these for me. I’m mostly interested in those now. Especially the colorway you got early with primeknit. Those things are gorgeous and judging by your comments are beastly.

    1. I agree. The clb2016 has taken my attention and if they perform well then I’m definitely getting a few.

  2. I can’t wait to play in this I’ve played in the drose 5 and it was great but this model I like the best! Can’t wait for them to drop!

  3. Notice the number 1 in thr middle of his logo? Now that he’s jersey number is 25, adidas might consider changing it.

    1. I was wondering the exact same thing about the logo. They might keep it because I heard that other than it being his number at the time, the 1 also represented his mom because it is her favorite number. Other than him wanting it to rep his mom though, they’ll probably change it, which really bums me out. His logo was always one of my favorites.

    2. I bet they won’t change it. It’s the negative space in the ‘D’ that creates the 1, and tbh I didn’t even notice it was a supposed to be a 1 until you mentioned it.

  4. I read or seen somewhere that the blue ones were for Halloween but not certain. We shall see said the blind man. Looking forward to these.

  5. I like the blue one,

They do have the same side guard to hold the boost just like the clb2016,

Looking forward to this being released early considering the clb2016 will release this july 2.

  6. Getting these for sure, like the blue a lot. The 5’s were great, but the 6’s were on another level. The primeknit version is the best hoops shoe I’ve ever played in. My knees give me no issues with the 6’s. Boost=GOAT.

  7. Wonder how the leather on the black one holds up since we’d assume those overlays shift around a lot in use.

If miadidas lets us play with the overlay colors independently of the upper (you expect that but never really know), so much potential.

  8. Rose Signature models never get lowtops anymore. If you wanted a Rose lowtop, go for the Englewoods.
