Get a Detailed Look at the Upcoming Jordan CP3.IX AE

Jordan Brand plans to continue their Playoff lineup of signature sneakers with the upcoming Jordan CP3.IX AE.

This version of the CP3.IX changed up the materials with Engineered Mesh and synthetic Fuse overlays. A dynamic fit system looks to be in place for the lacing which will provide a secure lockdown fit. Cushion and traction remain the same, both of which were proven (cushion not as much) in the original version so no reason to change it.

There is no U.S. release information at the moment, but the model has popped up overseas which means the Stateside release is pretty close. Let us know what you think below in the comment section and stay tuned for release updates.

  1. I definitely like the new look, but as in your performance view, the cushioning set up hinders the shoe more than it helps. The protruding, bottom loaded zoom is nothing without the flight plate. I’m hoping for the X’s, they will go back to the podular system with articulated zoom pod(s), like the VII. I have the All-Star VII’s and it is my favorite by far, and IMO one of the few shoes that gets away without air (or other tech besides just phylon/eva/etc) in the heel.

    1. Yup. I love Chris Paul kicks although I passed on the 4 I wish I picked up the wake forest / Vanderbilt colorway. It was so similar to the 3 and the 3 is sick to play in I just passed the 4.

  2. The 9 is A very particular shoe for me. The traction is Crazy good. I just picked up the blue pair and I swear I was crossing people over I normally post up but that shoe has that Chris Paul feel similar to the 3 but with bumps under your forefoot. I with when seriously broken in the kick with get better. For now I need to be selective when picking these to hoop in because my legs were soar after playing in them. #mykneesknow I need to be 100 before I lace these up.

  3. I bought a pair of cp3 ix ae last 12 nov 2016, i like the materials they used. However, one thing i dont like was i had a hard time putting the shoe on may be it has something to do with the tight opening my feet just couldn’t easily get through.
