Get Up Close and Personal with the 2016 Air Jordan 1 ‘Olympic Pack’

Every time the Olympics roll around we see every brand under the sun release multiple renditions of USA themed sneakers.

Jordan Brand takes advantage of this as well, and chooses to do so on the Air Jordan 1 nearly every single time. Luckily, the 2016 edition of the Air Jordan 1 ‘Olympic Pack’ looks great as it kept things simple. There are two colorways featured in the pack, straying off a bit from the typical red, white, and blue theme we see pasted on a silhouette. Instead we see a red/white and a blue/white, each of which feature different colored metallic finished Swoosh logos.

The white/red reflects the Silver medal, while the blue/white reflects the Gold. Will there be a Bronze edition as well? We haven’t seen anything just yet but it would have been smart to have released a women’s edition featuring bronze.

If you’re interested in the pack, or each shoe sold separately, then you’ll want to head over to your local Jordan Brand retailers on Monday as that is when they’ll release.

Anyone plan on grabbing a pair or will you wait for them to hit clearance racks rather than retail shelves?

  1. The Gold Medal + the “Closing Ceremony” 11s should be the pack…no one cares about 2nd place lol. Also both of these remind me of the blue and red Hustle Hart’s from a few months ago.
