Get an Official Look at the Nike Air Akronite

The Nike Air Akronite is a lifestyle shoe that we never thought we’d see.

It’s the first LeBron model to feature a hybrid look from the Nike vault – and they happen to be just for kids. You can see the shoe in all it’s glory below as they feature an ankle strap, foam build with mesh overlays, synthetic toe, and patches reminiscent of the Galaxy themed All-Star pack. Oh yeah… and they use the Air Tech Challenge II tooling. Also known as the Yeezy tooling for those that just got into sneakers.

Check out the official look below and share your thoughts now that we have some good images to look at. If you wanted to grab a pair, they hit retailers on October 15.

  2. Put NASA on a patch and it looks like something marketed to kids to get them interested in Space Camp. Very cool.
