Today, adidas unveiled an all-new colorway of the D Rose 6 signature basketball shoe that was inspired by his will to never break.

Clear gray suede contrasts the perforations in the upper for enhanced breathability and style on the court while faceted eyelets call on the sharp, bold architecture of the city with a rugged feel to match Derrick’s play. Accented black details, a synthetic leather tongue, and a tinted camo outsole reflect Derrick’s passion for bold, clean style.

  1. Very excited that these are releasing, and soon at that. I was worried these would strictly be a prototype or a later “Rose 6.5” sample since all the other leaked Rose 6 colorways didn’t feature the CF heel cup. I kinda wonder why it doesn’t carry to any of the other colorways or an option on MiAdidas.

Maybe it’s exclusive the “Lux” namesake…but I’m also surprised the price didn’t change a bit. Really want this pair.

  2. The traction looks very thin based on the picture. Has anyone seen the shoes already in person? How does the traction look like?

    1. It looks the same on every picture…disappointingly thin. It may work on hardwood but it surely won’t last long on anything much.

      1. Yeah. Kinda disappointing cause we know that boost is durable. I guess it (traction) had to be done that way from a business standpoint. Will still be copping these though cause these are gonna be great on-court.

        1. What do you mean by “had to be done that way from a business standpoint”? Do you think they did the traction the way they did not based solely on performance?
