Get a Detailed Look at the D Rose 6 Boost in Red

The next colorway of the adidas D Rose 6 Boost to launch will be one that fans of the signature series know and love.

This pair features a red synthetic leather upper with black accents throughout, giving off a Brenda vibe to them. Had they featured a hint of blue anywhere on the shoe then we would have assumed they were the L Train, but for the time being we’ll call them the D Rose 6 ‘Brenda’.

Retailers have dubbed this pair the ‘Away’ version of the shoe, which is also the Black/ Red pair’s name, so it’s possible that this is the Alternate Away and we’ll end up seeing another red-based pair hit retail in the future. There was a sample pair done up in a red mesh – seen here – which could also be the Brenda edition, however, there has been no confirmation that they’ll see a release.

  1. Is there going to be an official Primeknit colorway , if so do you know when ? This will be the most official hoopin shoe if it gets a Primeknit release !!

  2. These, like the curry 2 look like they will perform no doubt but what most companies miss the mark is when it comes to looks. Sure at the end of the day you want shoes that you don’t have to think about when playing and play like the man but these days you want to look like the man too, and that’s where Nike kills all of them. This may sound funny but Nike don’t just used technology and design to make shoes they make dreams and desires. From the the foams to zip up shrouds and of course everyone could remember the feeling when they looked through air bubbles for the first time… I do.

    1. i used to think these looked horrendous, but when you hold them in hand or lace them up, they actually look fine, they’re not sleek or refined, sure, but they’re not anywhere close to being hideous, either….aesthetically speaking i would take them over the lebron 13 any day, as long as we’re talking about nike….i’ve not had the chance to play in the rose 6, as money is short right now, but just trying them on, they’re a dream

    2. and your fetish for nike is a bit disturbing, man, they’re objects of desire besides being functional performance products, sure, but at the end of the day if a shoe looks awful and plays better than anything else out there, i’m still going to play in them without a doubt, a lot of the shoes in my rotation are like that, i’m never going to wear them outside, but they’re made for jump stops, step backs, driving the lane
(examples in my rotation right now: hyperchase, hyperrev 2015, crazyquick 1, clutchfit drive 1 & 2)

  3. All rose shoes look like another rose shoe but kd shoes for example forces you to think and wonder, the kd7 foam heel and zoom unit begged you to try it out and the 8’s it’s the articulated zoom, extended heel, and saber tooth heel design says hate me or love me you have to admit I’m different and interesting.

    1. I agree. That’s why the casual shoe buyer doesn’t care about these brands. They don’t grab your attention enough, and when they try to it is over the top. I am happy other brands are pretty much making better performing shoes than Nike. Things will level out in the future with appeal and performance.

  4. YO, has any one bought anything from “REVUPSPORTS.COM” they have 3 other colorways od the DROSE 6. the Black and white, a gray black and an all blue. NEVER heard of this spot.

  5. I just purchased these from Finish Line and went down to as size 11. Adidas has been fitting LONG for me so I hope I didn’t F up. the D lil down a half, the Wall down a half the 773 3 down a half. any input here?
