Future Blesses the New Reebok Classics Zoku Runner with a Freebandz Collab

It was only a matter of time before a silhouette launched by music phenom Future got a Freebandz colorway.

First debuted on March 2 in London with a performance from Future at the historic Village Underground, the Reebok Zoku Runner has gotten its first collaboration courtesy of Future’s record label.

Designed by Future and the Freebandz team, this shoe expands upon the black and white aesthetic the past Freebandz x Reebok projects have used. It utilizes a two-tone black and white upper — a look only achievable with knit uppers like Reebok’s Ultraknit — matching laces, a glossy white midsole, a marbled outsole, and reflective heel cage overlays. Unique Freebandz details include the sockliner, heel webbing, collar, and heel tabs.

In a statement, Future said, “The Zoku Runner is about evolution, moving forwards…that’s what I look to do creatively.”

The Freebandz x Reebok Classic Zoku Runner will retail for $115 (no price increase from the other colorways available). It will launch at Reebok.com and select retailers worldwide Friday, March 17.

  1. Dear Reebok, if you want to get some of the market shares here’s a hint.. Bring back DMX Moving Air and DMX Max (Air). If not, at least make use of full-length Hexalite Air. You can make your shoes look fancy but so does adidas and Puma but those companies have the cushion to back it up. I understand that adidas is the parent company of Reebok, is why I think they are making ugly CW retro of Iverson Question and not retroing the Answer 1 , but adidas still gets profits off Reebok shoes too. Please OG the Answer 1, 4, 5 , 7 btw.
