First Look at the adidas Ball 365

Images of the adidas Ball 365 have surfaced and it looks to be an upcoming budget model — a solid one at that.

Coming in a low, mid, and high, the Ball 365 looks to feature a one piece mesh upper, full length Bounce cushion, and adidas’ Continental rubber on the outsole. The tech is clearly reminiscent of the adidas Lillard 2, making this shoe an anticipated on court model for us here at WearTesters.

The three cuts of the shoe only differ in one area other than the collar height; the high has a giant strap, the mid has a small strap, and the low doesn’t have a strap at all. Will this be enough for the fit to vary on each version? We’ll have to wait to find out.

Check out the images of the adidas Ball 365 and stay tuned to WearTesters for upcoming release information.

  1. Full length bounce, mesh upper, and continental rubber. Adidas is killing it with these budget models. If this is under 90 bucks and they’re as good or better than the Light Em Up 2s, then they’d be an auto-buy.

As for the look, well…its not pretty, but for me performance>aesthetics forever.

  2. Wow these things look cheap! they look like performers tho. These have no player name attached to them so it’s probably gonna be cheaper than the Lillard 2s.

  3. I actually really like the look/ colorway of the mid. The strap system looks interesting. Rather than Velcro, it looks like it uses a snap system. Good way to keep the laces in tact (looking at you, Kyrie 2), but I worry about how durable/secure the nubs will be. At the very least, I give them credit for trying a fresh take on an old design idea.

  4. They have a lot of Streetball in them, which is a good look, the lateral cupsole is a problem for me though, since I under-pronate(so it’ll grind my metatarsals).

  5. Very interesting…I’m excited, as I LOVE my lillard 2’s…the one I’ll be looking to pick up is the lows if I do decide to get a pair.

  6. the c/w is the only thing i’m complaining about these shoes, other than that, these look acceptable aesthetically compared to what Nike has been coming up lately with half of their bb shoes, not to mention signature models.

  7. Any updates on when they are going to release the ball 365? We’re in July and still no dates on when their coming out.

  8. Had to look online because I just saw them at the local adidas store in Hong Kong where I’m at right now. The store doesn’t have the colorway seen here but a more of a bred colorway for around $95usd. The bounce does look a lot like the lillard2s and the mesh upper is nicer than that from Nike, and all the models of ball 365 have continental rubber!!! Sweetness!!!
