Drawing inspiration from the daily grind and hustle, FILA’s latest ‘Concrete Gum’ pack builds upon the brand’s first ‘Concrete’ pack with a variety of classic styles dressed in grey tones.
The first part of this pack was applied to the FX-100 and Original Fitness silhouettes, but this time ’round FILA is offering a bit more diversity by calling on the Cage, T-1 Mid, and Original Tennis.
Inspired by the concrete sidewalks we all share, putting foot to the pavement and grinding is the only way towards our goals. Thus, all three models get lathered in grey suedes and leathers for this pack — and sit atop glorious gum bottoms.
The latest FILA Cage, which will be available in men’s and kid’s sizing, utilizes a tonal gray suede upper and debossed branding for a subtle look on a generally loud model. The cage at the heel, generally done in a neoprene or synthetic, will this time get treated to suede.
The T-1 Mid dons a three-toned stacked look with High-Rise and Pewter suedes atop a white midsole. Notable details include the leather sockliner and stacked logo on the tongue that flaunts a small Italian flag (something the T-1 Mid has featured consistently).
Finally, for those that love lowtops, the Original Tennis sports a leather and suede build with a sweeping dual-color leather panel across the upper. Traditional red and blue FILA branding hits the midsole, quarter, back counter, and tongue (yes, it’s a lot of logos).
All three styles will release Friday, February 17, in time for All-Star Weekend. Pricing is still TBD.
