The FILA ’97 in the all-new Blackout colorway finally gets a new release date.
If you wanted to grab a pair, they’ll be available in limited numbers starting January 16th at FILA.com and a few other select retailers – which are currently unknown at the moment.

Somebody knows what happened with the performance reviews for the Fila 96 and Fila Spaghetti?.
In the first impression video Chris mentioned that there was a performance review in progress, but I did not saw it… Means that these are bad shoes for a basketball game?

Probably won’t be a top performing hoop shoe. At best i’d expect them to perform like the Kamakazi II
I hope their cushioning is like the the Fila 96’s. The 96’s have some of the best cushioning I’ve ever felt.
Been thinking of getting the retro ’96s for quite a while now. Do you have any of the retros? If so, is the cushioning still decent in the retros? And how are they to play in? Do you recommend them?
The 96’s are on sale right now for $20 at sears.com. In my opinion the cushioning is some of the best. The traction is better suited for outdoors. They also have high quality materials for the price. I have a few retros, kamikaze 1 & 2, a few pairs Adidas crazy 97, some pumps. From the retros I have, I like the 96’s the best.
Thanks for the heads up. i picked myself up a pair last night. I already had the All Star version but these were too hard to pass up at that price…especially with the materials.
