It’s not the colorway most old school FILA fans were hoping for, but at least its a colorway that looks good.
FILA has dubbed this pair the ‘Black Out’ edition of the FILA 97. Sporting a black nubuck (FilaBuck) and white & silve leather rand around the toe. Top it off with a crisp white midsole and outsole & you’ve got me hooked. Expect retail to be $100 and they’ll be available at FILA.com on Black Friday.
I’m not gonna lie. These look nice. I wish more shoes would use the timeless black/white color blocking. I haven’t owned a Fila shoe in……. I honestly dont remember. I think I may have had a pair 20+ years ago as a kid. This seems like a shoe I’ll have buyers remorse paying full price for though. Shoes like this usually end up being about $40 at Finishline or Marshals. I really like these though….. I guess it depends on how much money I spend on other things in the upcoming days/weeks.
