The Decade X Supra Skytop IV ‘Textures’ Drops Today

The Decade X series is winding down as skate lifestyle brand Supra has been releasing a limited edition make up of each Chad Muska signature sneaker every month since August. The Decade X collection seems to be leading up to the unveiling of the Skytop V in December. The fourth part of the collection is the Supra Skytop IV ‘Textures’.

In celebration of Supra’s tenth anniversary, the Decade X collection focuses on different aspects of Muska’s creative process. The ‘Textures’ release utilizes a cork upper with an over dye print inspired by the element of wood. According to Supra, Muska explored this element at length since wood is the essence and foundation of skateboarding — ramps are made out of wood, as are skateboards themselves, and he’s spent a lot of time with both.

In addition to a cork upper, the Supra Skytop IV ‘Textures’ features flat waxed laces, a custom sockliner, and sits atop a black SUPRAFOAM midsole. The sneaker uses a clear outsole underfoot with the word ‘Forever’ emblazoned beneath it; during the last ten years Muska has often painted and used it as a theme for the brand. Of course, an embroidered ‘X’ hits the heel.

The limited edition Decade X Supra Skytop IV ‘Textures’ will be available online today for $160 at in sizes 7 to 13. What do you think of this latest take on Chad Muska’s fourth Supra signature? Let us know in the comments.

I’m loving these — I think they’re the best Decade X kick that has released so far, and they’ve all been interesting. I saw these back in July when I spoke with Cape Capener of Supra and KR3W and it was tough keeping my mouth shut!

  1. I’ve got a pair of these Skytop IV edition, and same here, they’re my fav X Decade so far, they look really dope, and the quality is here, they seem very solid and tuff, they come in a special grey ” X ” limited retail box box, well just beautiful stuff ..

      1. Hi Noah, yes i’ve worn them a few times and they’re really comfy as the others Skytop IV that i already have, the upper is very solid it feels a bit like cork or something like that as Muska wanted them close to “wood feeling ” but yeah comfy for sure.
