Comfort Reigns Supreme on the NikeLab Gyakusou LunarEpic in ‘Team Red’

Nike’s newest runner now appears in a limited colorway with the NikeLab Gyakusou Lunarepic dropping on

Along with the maroon (Team Red) upper, is a mixture of Dark Obsidian Blue on the laces, Flywire, and swoosh details. Midnight Fog grey touches up the outsole for a little more contrast.

The shoe is actually designed by fashion guru Jun Takahashi who took inspiration from the Gyakusou International Running Association (GIRA) to mix up this colorway.

The new LunarEpic is more durable with the lines cut on the sides of the Lunarlon midsole. From what we’ve heard, the sole is one of the softer that Nike has produced, with flex grooves on the outsole adding to the flexibility and comfort.

You can pick up the ‘Team Red’ colorway of the NikeLab Gyakusou Lunarepic for $195 by clicking HERE.

  1. you now what i find slightly annoying?
the fact that these “beauty shots” of shoes never show it’s look in full functional form… I wish i could see the placement of the actual laces of these shoes and see how it would look with the laces tied, and, more importantly, how it would be positioned in relation to the sock-booty-thingy……

    1. *edit* or is that just how the shoe actually is? you have to buy at the perfect size and slip your foot in? I may be mistaken that they actually have laces at all…..

      1. No.. There are lace strings at the end of it that you can tie up (saw it in the commercial for these shoes). And I agree that it’s retarded that they don’t capture the shoe for what it really looks like.
