The Under Armour Curry 3 ‘Dub Nation’ in all it’s Golden State Goodness

C’mon, c’mon, COME ON!!!!! Get here already.

One of the most anticipated signature shoes of the last 3 years, the Under Armour Curry series, has reached Stage 3 this fall and we have seen images for months — both real and fake. Well folks, these are the Home ‘Dub Nation’ colorway, and they are real, and they are SPECTACULAR.

Blessed with new AND old technology (with the reappearance of anaFoam, tried and true Charged), we also get a dose of Threadborne, Under Armour’s new knit technology, and carbon fiber placed in support areas (heel cup, arches). This looks to be the most advanced Curry shoe yet, which makes sense being the newest, and rumors of a $150 price tag have been circulating, but not yet officially confirmed.

Hate the Chef all you want, the shoe is SICK. Anticipated, even.

Follow us for all details because when we know, you know. We can’t wait to test and review these once they’re available. Hopefully they prove to be the best in the line thus far.

    1. really??? You don’t think people want the Curry 3? On name alone the public will buy these. And for the ones of us who do performance reviews, yeah, they are, just to see if it is improved or a drop off from last year.

      1. Personally i do not want them nor do I think they are anticipated. Will people buy? I’m sure, never said they wouldn’t. Just like you said tho for those doing reviews then yea they might be anticipated but for other people I am not so sure. Not an appealing shoe either but that is just my opinion.

        1. I can see that side, and am glad you see mine. Anytime a shoe has a new technology or innovation we are excited to see if it works. Thanks for reading and watching – hope you enjoy us.

          1. No doubt man I love kicks just like y’all and I’m interested to see how you guys think they fair even if I’m not grabbing a pair. Appreciate what y’all do keep it up an keep em coming.

  1. looks-wise its a bit all over the place. such a discordant look w/ all the differing materials and textures. it visually doesnt work. its 100% performance based I’m sure. they wont sell except to Curry fans and serious basketball players. I’m expecting UA to release a far more appealing 3.5 by the all star break bc these arent going to sell well compared to past Curry offerings. personally I wouldnt even buy them to ball in unless they are the best performance shoe of the yr

  2. i really dont like the look of the curry 3. for me it looks like too much is going on; every part of the shoe has a different material/color/stitch. this shoew, especially with the above colorway is way too loud for me…pass

    1. I think that’s the best way to put it, just to much going on an it don’t add up well in the end. Personally I think each curry has looked worst then the one before

  3. won’t those carbon fiber heel counters affect the heel cushioning? i would assume these are extended to a certain portion between the upper and the midsole.

    1. I would expect the carbon fiber runs from the sides of the heel, opens on top of the heel, and under the arch in a one piece form, like a U.

  4. Aesthetically they are ugly. The Curry 1 was great, the 2 was good. I am sure they will be good performers but i will pass. UA looks more like hybrids of Brandblack and Peak lately, i think they have lost their design identity.
