The Under Armour 3D Printed Architech is Now Available

The first shoe to come to market with 3D printed materials comes from Under Armour with the all-new Architech.

This is a training shoe that offers a textile mesh upper with ClutchFit overlays – feels great by the way. The heel portion in red is the 3D printed tech, and it’s very similar to what crossfit shoes offer in terms of support and stability.

Product Decscription
– Flow-molded 3D ClutchFit® auxetic upper flexes & moves with the foot for powerful support & incredible feel
– 3D printed lattice heel structure provides dynamic stability with an alluring design that can only be accomplished through 3D printing
– Midsole is constructed with both Micro G® technology for stability & Charged Cushioning® for high rebound performance
– Webbed rubber outsole molded with thin polyester reinforcement, allowing weight reduction while maintaining traction & durability

If you wanted to try the shoe out for yourself then you can grab them now at UnderArmour.com. Numbers are limited for this pair, but they may offer a wider scale launch later down the line.

  1. One day, I’ll be able to illegally torrent a shoe from the internet and print it out. UA and all these companies will be like, “We should’ve never developed this technology.”

  2. think 3d printing shoes is gimmick to get people excited but come on you won’t open a door and pull them out and put on.. its just materials then a long and laborious job of attaching them ..sooo this whole thing is ridiculous..plus what about glues being illegal in our country that’s why we give it to china to experiment working around..
