Nike Air Max CB 34

Following the recent years of retro runs, this year is no exception. Nike basketball has been blessing us from models such as the Nike Air Penny II, to the Nike Zoom Hawk Flight, but it’s only right to bring back an OG colorway for a beloved model, and that model would be of the Nike Air Max CB34.

The original design was released in 1995 and designed specifically for “SIR” Charles Barkley (As you may seen as an announcer on NBA on TNT). This design screams out to the 90’s, with its upper grain leather, lockdown elastic straps for the easy-pull lacing system, and the huge CB34 imprint on the side, tongue, and outsole of the shoe. The purple and orange accents within the Air Max bubble, heel, and pull tab are visible, paying homage to his time when playing for the Pheonix Suns. This model definitely brings back nostalgia. These are tentatively schedule to release late February, and priced at around $140-$160, but again, release date and prices are subject to change, so stay tuned. 1. These were not released until spring of 96 , I know cuz I had them. Barkley only wore them in the 96 playoffs and never again. In 96 I was the only one who seemed to have them , and I went all over Houston and Chicago that summer.
