Air Jordan III (3) ’88 Retro – Another Look

There is still no word of if or when these will release but here are a couple more images if you were interested.

They’ve been labeled as Samples so this may have been a 2011 Sample… but if future releases of Retro models end up continuing the trend that the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Retro models have started then I’m sure this is a possibility.

Should certain Retro models have Nike Air returned? I personally could care less… what are your thoughts?

  1. This will make extremely hard to get. It’s already a struggle to deal with resellers, can’t imagine the numbers they will be selling these for. But I think it’s cool they are releasing something more similar to what Mike wore.

  2. I personally like the Jumpman better but I could care less which logo they put on the shoes. It’s just a great marketing scheme for Jordan and Nike to keep reselling the same retros.

  3. The 88′ white/cements were my intro into shoes when I was 8 years old, so yes, I have a fondness for the traditional nike air. However, two quick points-with the amount of retro’d versions of this shoe we’ll see in our life time I’m not worried about any of it. It simply is not 1988 anymore so the “real” mystique is forever gone. Second point is that the jump man does look very clean on this shoe.
