Nightwing gave us a detailed review on the Air Jordan 14 in the “thunder” colorway and Jordan Brand is giving the Air Jordan 1 Retro Mid the same treatment.
Featuring an upper with different shades of black leather for a sense of depth, this colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Mid has a thunderous look. The grey inner lining and outsole gives this colorway a softer look than its counter part the Air Jordan 14, but the white midsole provides that great black to white contrast we are accustomed to on the Jordan 1. Personally i feel like the grey features should have stayed black for that great stealth look the “Thunder” colorway is known for. Also you have to wonder how this would look with a nubuck upper for a more matte look similar to the Air Jordan 4 and 14 in the same colorway. Nonetheless this colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Mid is clean and should have no problem finding its way off the shelf.
