Even the Air Jordan 1 isn’t immune to the ankle collar trend that has been hitting all the lifestyle, even on-court, models recently. Now, we have an early look this new rendition of the AJ1.
Using an upper that looks similar to what is used on the AJ 1 KO, this version of the Air Jordan 1 has an ankle collar that looks to be made of a neoprene-like material. Usually these ankle booties add height to a low cut model but the AJ 1 is already a high so the ankle collar doesn’t change things too much aesthetically — but maybe they’re more comfortable?
We’ll have to wait and find out as there is no official release date yet for this model but stay locked to WearTesters.com for any upcoming information.
