adidas Officially Unveils the Harden Vol. 1 ‘Fear the Fork’ in Honor of ASU

adidas and James Harden have officially unveiled the Harden Vol. 1 ‘Fear the Fork’ edition in honor of Arizona State University.

This colorway was one of the more confusing ones we saw early on because we had no idea what the colorway was about, but only that it looked cool. Today, as adidas officially unveils the shoe along with its release date, we can see the the Black/Yellow (Gold) sneaker represents Harden’s alma mater.

Designed with a black knit upper and gold leather across the toe, laces, the three stripe branding ties with the desert sun and pays tribute to the gold in ASU’s uniforms. As James’ jersey hangs from the rafters he’s remembered as one of the most-decorated players in Arizona State history averaging 19 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game during his two seasons as a Sun Devil.

If you like what you see and wanted to grab this colorway upon release it’ll be available beginning March 4 for $140.

  1. Looks like they color-matched the outsole with the upper’s yellow accent color unlike before in leaks. Better this way.
