The adidas Consortium Sneaker Exchange program has brought together New York boutique Kith and Copenhagen’s own Naked for the unveiling of a new collaboration and a new silhouette.
The first colorways of the adidas NMD City Sock 2 (CS2) to release will be a collaborative”Transatlantic Project” between Ronnie Fieg’s premier sneaker boutique Kith and women’s footwear shop Naked.
The adidas NMD CS2 x Kith x Naked collaboration will debut the new NMD CS2 in sand and pink. A blended Primeknit upper is showcased on each colorway with metallic silver adidas three stripe branding running down the center of the shoes on white leather panels. The same leather is used on the heel pull tabs, dual-branded with Kith and Naked logos. Each shoe also features Naked branding on the tongue of the right shoe, while RF (for Ronnie Fieg) can be seen on the left shoe.
The adidas NMD CS2 remains laceless like the adidas CS1 but features an updated foldover feature on the lateral side of the shoe for increased accessibility and fit. Of course, the adidas NMD CS2 is completed with a full-length BOOST midsole underfoot. Continental rubber is not used for the traction.
The adidas Consortium x Kith x Naked CS2 “Transatlantic Project” will release on March 4 in Kith and Naked shops, as well as their respective webstores. The shoes will release globally at adidas Consortium accounts on March 11.
