adidas Dual Threat BB is Slowly Hitting Retailers Now

The adidas Dual Threat BB is slowly starting to hit overseas retailers, so a U.S. release is hopefully coming soon.

These look great aesthetically, but should also pack a fairly powerful performance punch with the tech involved. The TechFit interior looks solid while the upper’s construction is a mixture of mesh and synthetics. Their midsole is adiPrene+ so they’ll be comfortable while traction – which can be seen here – should be solid indoors or outdoors.

Are these a possible take down version of the D Lillard? Let us know in the comment section and if you wanted a pair head here.

  1. Hopefully these are gonna have a US release soon or at least have an adidas.com listing. These look sick and these were my summer kicks on court when they released.

  2. Seen them in-store here in Manila. I have to say these are real clean. A very light weight shoe. The strap system is made out of neoprene. The outsole is very pliable (atleast for the red CW) which is decent for hardwood courts. But think it’ll grind down easily for asphalt courts.

    1. where exactly in Manila? what store? Mall? thx in advance…really looking to cop this right here.

      1. Seen them in Planet Sports and The Athletes Foot. I think most adidas retailers also have em on shelves right now.

  3. Looks like the new crazylight boost, minus the boost and the primeknit. They have a super similar, if not identical, build.

  4. same outsole as the crazy strike. that also had a low and had that jwal midfoot wing(?). these look like the lillard. just thinking they are making take down team models (similar models) from sig designs. the collar might fix the issue with the lillards.

  5. This shoe literally screams: ‘Give me 5-pod PureMotion!!!’

Very similar to the Rose 1 samples(even the materials).

  6. I just copped these in the red white and blue flad cw at dicks for 69. The cushion is bouncy. In the heel, it has the cutoff like the first two crazylights which look like the same, premium source foam lol. Also, there is a midfoot shank and the forefoot looks like the first two crazylights. Very light shoe. Hadnt balled in them yet but seems like a fun smooth ride

  7. Just picked the Andrew Wiggins color way from Dicks sporting goods and am really intrigued by the the techfit speed wrap. The traction looks like it’ll hold up outdoor plus the cushion is meh, nothing new.
    Not bad purchase for $60

  8. I have a history of sprained ankles. Would the techfit speed wrap provide enough support? I love the lillards and the crazy lights, but I dont like to ball on lowtops. I am curious with this shoes and thinking of getting a pair. Care to share any experience?

    1. I have these shoes and I would say that they provide a lot of support on your ankles, although I have never sprained my ankles so I would try them on if I were you.
