  1. Just picked up a pair today at my local Footlocker. Normally wear a size 9.5 in Nikes, but had to go with a 9 for the DRose 7. I have pretty wide feet and they are super tight around the midfoot while wearing Nike basketball socks. Hopefully they break in because the boost feel great. Fingers crossed

  2. Do these DRose7 have the same rubber outsoles as the crazylights : Continental rubber for all outsoles except white and translucent ones?

  3. Personally went TTS with the Drose7 compared from 1/2 sizing down on the CLB2016.
hugged around foot very well (even with slightly-wide foot). Not as narrow as CLB but containment, esp. with padding around the heel collar quite plush.

  4. Put in about an hour today of drills and they broke in nicely. Not uncomfortable anymore, just nice and snug. I’ve always gone with kobes, but these DRose 7 are definitely have the right balance between cushion and court feel.

  5. I wear so many different sizes I am not even sure that I can say what true to size is for my foot, though I can say my foot is about 10.1 inches long from the top of my big toe to the back of my heel. I wear a 10 in Kobe XI, which fits perfectly, an 8 in Timbs, a 9 in the horrible Jordan Ultraflys that I didn’t keep, etc. Tonight I tried on the Harden CLB 2.5’s, size 10 was a bit too big, I tried the Lillard boosts and they were both too long and too wide in 9 1/2. That particular foot locker didn’t have either shoe smaller. So I tried the KD 9 in size 9 and a half. Perfect fit but I hated how it felt. Especially the Lillards, where I loved the feel but had my heel swimming all over the shoe. Then I got lucky because the next foot locker I went to had the D Rose 7. Size 9 was a perfect fit. Walking in I was thinking I was going to just order the Lillards in a 9 but I was blown away by this shoe. Perfect fit as I said. The boost will require some getting used to because it feels very firm but I can see where I will appreciate it once it’s broken in and I am playing. The traction from the little I could tell seems sick. I dragged my foot on the smooth floor and it absolutely stuck in place. When I put on my Kobe’s again they were sliding along the floor.

For me, it wasn’t a “step-in” type of comfort but I anticipate it being awesome once I am used to it and the shoe is broken in.

    1. I definitely appreciate this comment. It helps with deciding if a store visit is needed and a store visit is almost always needed nowadays. This shoe and the crazy light intrigue me.
