adidas D Rose 7 Primeknit | Detailed Look and Review

adidas has been on a roll as of late with their hoops category, and they don’t look to be slowing things down anytime soon.

This is the adidas D Rose 7 Primeknit, and it’s a shoe I’m pretty excited to play in. While I wasn’t as in-love with the D Rose 7 as I was with the D Rose 6 Primeknit, I’m hoping this version of the 7 changes my mind. Not to say that the D Rose 7 is a bad shoe, I just enjoyed certain things more on the 6 PK more. Such as how they fit my foot. They were just more comfortable for me.

However, if you wanted a detailed look and review of the D Rose 7 in Primeknit prior to the performance update then we’ve got you covered.

If you’ve played in the Primeknit edition, be sure to share your thoughts on them in the comment section below. And, as always, stay tuned for updates on their performance with the material change.

  1. Lovin what Adidas is doing these days. They really are trying to fight for the market now but the colours on this pair are perfect for my school’s varsity team plus a pretty good price for a top tier performer.

  2. Good luck on those personal topics! After following you for quite a long time, it is wird how you are already like a friend for which you hope the best 😀 First things first! Looking forward for that BrandBlack review though…

  3. i hope there are no family related problems. f*ck the kicks, nothing is more important than the family. good luck.

    1. It’s family related, but in a good way. I won’t post that video here on WTers, but if you follow my channel already then you’ll see the update when it’s uploaded. Appreciate all the support!

  4. I’ve got a guess or two based on the clues, but could be way wrong at the same time.

Anyway, my eyes are on the white Home PK Rose 7. Might be next year yet because I really want to avoid two of the same shoe again.

  5. I just bought the Rose 6 (Black/White Mesh) from eBay and played in them last night. Yoooo! Adidas should have released more mesh like this and prime knit versions of the 6. It is sooooo comfortable. The fit is comfortable, the cushion is ridiculously comfortable, and the traction is just as good. When I want that bounce feeling, the 6 is where it is at. I still want to try the CLB2016 but I will rock with these 6s for the time being.

  6. I tried on the d rose 7 mesh version and it wasn’t comfortable at all. The material is really tight and I had a big toe problem with that leather padding, but the primeknit version is much more comfortable. My foot doesn’t rub against the material and feel like it’s burning. It was easy to break in and had a lot less of a problem with my toe. If you’re interested in the d rose 7 go primeknit. It’s worth the few extra $

  7. Hey Nightwing! Thanks for the incredible content. I have been following your channel for years and you have never disappointed. I know a lot of kids have been really annoying and just assholes in general so you stalled the review for these.. but I am really looking into either getting the D Rose 6 PK or the D Rose 7 PK and I wanted to know if you could tell me how these performed/felt compared to the original D Rose 7. The help would be greatly appreciated my man. Thank you for everything!

      1. Thank you for the quick response Nightwing! You said in the original D Rose 7 performance review that the non-PKs are your second fav shoe out of the adidas bunch, with the Crazy Explosives being your personal favorite. So would you say the D Rose 7 PK took that top spot? Or is the Crazy Explosive still your personal favorite? I am really trying to get a low/mid size shoe with incredible traction and support/lockdown with pretty good feeling materials, so I have been stuck here. Either way, thank you again, I appreciate the help.
