  1. Supernatural Creator sans the shroud! I’ll be waiting for these to hit the outlets since adidas shoes here in the Philippines are way overpriced (Tmac 1 was at $158 retail).

  2. I saw a video in which a person affiliated with Adidas said that boost technology will only make it in the basketball shoes in 2 years.

  3. These have injected Eva foam! It’s the same cushioning setup as the upcoming Rose 773(2). I got hat information from the Winter 2013 Adidas Team catalogue!

  4. I don’t understand why they’re a fail without boost foam. Nike took quite quite a while to optimize lunarlon for basketball (without it bottoming out instantly). I’m sure boost will make it onto basketball shoes eventually, but patience is the name of the game. Adidas wants to get it right the first time.

    1. Its my opinion. I think they could implement BOOST into their basketball like now if they wanted to. The entire midsole doesnt have to be made of BOOST but they could use the EVA as a carrier the way Nike does with Lunarlon.

  5. Yes, it’s your opinion. However, it’s a very hasty take when you consider that boost was just released and was always going to be brought out first for the running platform. Additionally, this shoe features a tech fit upper and a revamped pure motion system (which many have been waiting for). I’ve found the boost foam to be pretty incredible after a few weeks of running and can’t wait to see it makes its way to the other platforms.

    1. Thats all I was getting at… I really want to see and feel BOOST in a hoop model. I feel their basktball line has become redundant over the past couple seasons. I already noticed the updated PureMotion tech in the shoe but without any confirmation I didn’t want to say anything about that… for all I knew it was something completely different. At any rate, I’m entitled to my opinion and I wish that I could speak freely without being criticized for having thoughts on things. When I say that something is a fail, I mean that I’m disappointed – personally. I like to experience something new every time I play in a pair of new hoop shoes. I get excited for every single pair… UA Charge BB, Spine, AJXX8, AJK2009, Kobe VII… you name the shoe and I’ve been excited to play in them. I want to see adidas push the envelope again like they used to. They went from PureMotion to SPRINTFRAME and the lightest kicks on the planet then they just kept doing the same thing over and over again after that… so with these I personally want to see something new.

      1. We’re not criticizing you for having an opinion man, we respect your opinion. That doesn’t mean we can’t disagree with it. The problem with an EVA carrier is that boost isn’t really even a type of foam, so having a foam carrier for it might not work. It’s made of plastic – you’ll notice how the running shoes have no carrier at all, whereas lunarlon has never (to my knowledge) been without a carrier. Like I said before, I’m sure Adidas will bring it to basketball eventually, and I’d prefer they do it right the first time, rather than rushing it into a product without the proper testing.

        1. I understand that. I wasn’t referring to your comment when it comes to my opinion. Was responding to Michaels response saying my opinion was hasty when its just my opinion and nothing negative. I dont mind disagreeing or debating, difference of opinion makes good ideas into great ones. I was just voicing my opinion and disappointment when it comes to pushing the performance envelope like they used to do.

      2. I understand. Just the nature of the Internet. If we had this same talk in person, we’d probably see eye to eye without any hang ups. For the record, I admit I was sensitive only to your language (again, not knowing the real intention, as words over this medium comes across cold) in using the word fail. Your disappointment is your own, but I just felt that the tech fit upper and the new PM were something to be excited about. All good.

  6. New formotion pod tech has me intrigued
Have you tried the new boost foam at all night wing?

  7. ahhhhh! i hope they do have the BOOST cushion for this cos if they do, I am so going to wait for your review and then buy it!

  8. it looks like a decent performer, and im pretty interested in the tech they got going on… but man the mid-sole is just too ugly!

  9. man, adidas should try to be more creative with the look of the shoe. there’s nothing about the look of the shoe that would make me wanna buy it. at least nike gives lebron’s shoe its own personal identity, kobe’s shoe, etc.. i know it’s a performance shoe but C’mon adidas!

  10. If im not mistaken, boost was already a name given to a design tech that adidas already implemented on older models of their basketball shoes. Google it guys, adidas boost basketball shoes….
