adidas CrazyQuick 3 Black/ White

As we all know, the adidas Crazyquick 3 has made its way to overseas retailers while the US hoopers must wait to see when the brand plans on dropping the model Stateside.

This particular pair is a simple Black/ White makeup with speckled hits along the outsole. PureMotion fans will enjoy the reuse of the setup (Next Gen PureMotion, not OG PureMotion) while keeping things lightweight and flexible. The upper looks awesome, as do the materials, and the only thing that concerns me at the moment is the implementation of the adiPrene+. I’m just hoping they didn’t go the D Rose 4 route and stick a tiny little crash pad in the heel. Really hoping they use adiPrene+ for the entire midsole, or at least a targeted setup in the heel and forefoot similar to the Crazy Light Boost 2015.

Check out the latest colorway to hit overseas retailers, and stay tuned for US release information.

  1. I’ve a pair for a couple of weeks now and they are light but, sturdy. The cushion is a little better than the first iteration. I would describe it as a cushioned, court feel. Don’t recommend big guy give these a run. I’m 220lbs and that’s pushing it. I never got a chance to get the CQ2.

    1. how about the fit and support? and is the cushion bouncy and responsive? and are the materials stiff/soft/flexible?

      1. I’m a wide footer but these give me no problems like most Adidas shoes don’t. I always get a twelve in Adidas and it’s usually too big or just right and these are just right. The “QuickFrame” is supportive almost like the LeBron 12 wings are but softer and more flexible. Not a lot a bounce out of the Adiprene+ but still good impact protection. First step won’t be hindered at all. The upper is TechFit, done right, with a sort of plastic mesh overlay. Soft and flexible but, still strong. There’s also the usual: good heel cup, vinyl on the toe for durability and multi-directional herringbone.

  2. Was waiting for a black colorway to surface. Was hoping it came with a black midsole but these will do too.

  3. why do we get targeted versions of a companies best foam? i seriously doubt one foam is more expensive or more difficult to manufacture, my guess is it’s marketing.
