adidas Crazy Hustle – Detailed Look and First Impressions

adidas Crazy Hustle

Back in December, we reported that a new basketball model from adidas was released: the adidas Crazy Hustle. It was well discussed in the comment section here at WearTesters.com, and many requested that we do a performance review. Here’s a detailed look at the shoes in hand, as well as some first impressions on how the shoe will perform.

The adidas Crazy Hustle features a knitted upper with an overlay of fuse that covers the entire toebox and some of the midfoot. The fuse overlay has a pattern cut into it that is similar to the design of the outsole on the adidas Crazy Explosive. In terms of technology, the adidas Crazy Hustle features BOUNCE cushioning. The BOUNCE midsole is very similar in design as what is used on the adidas AlphaBounce. For traction, the adidas Crazy Hustle features a translucent version of the traction that was used on the adidas Crazylight Boost 2016.

Stay tuned for the performance review on the adidas Crazy Hustle in the coming weeks here at WearTesters.com. If you were interested in purchasing a pair of the adidas Crazy Hustle, you can do so here. Let us know in the comment section what excites you the most about this shoe!

  1. These could have had easily a Jumpman on a side. Very clean design and would be surprised if they didn’t perform well

Happy new year to the whole WT crew by the way

  2. these look fantastic. this is what every “budget model” should be like. And am I the only one who digs Bounce better than Boost on court?

    1. well, if i could get the feeling of the bounce midsole in the alphabounce in a basketball shoe, i would probably like it just as much, if not more, than the boost i’ve experienced in adidas’ basketball line….

i like the lillard 2 a lot as a shoe overall, but i think the cushion is a bit dense and dead feeling, i mean it definitely gets the job done, but it doesn’t have much character, you know? also the court feel isn’t as good as something like the rose 5, the rose 7 or the harden volume 1

      1. I’m also looking forward to get a pair of rose 7 primeknit tho. Lows just isn’t my thing. Is there a difference between the primeknit version and the micromesh version. As a wide footer I tried a mesh pair at the store, I felt some pinching where the laces end. I assume I wouldn’t have that feeling with the primeknit upper.
