adidas Crazy 97 (EQT Elevation) – Available Now

True to original form, the adidas EQT Elevation has finally returned to retail.

You can grab the Purple Slam Dunk Contest colorway now over at Packer Shoes – mine are on their way – and if you were looking for something that will be durable enough for outdoor terrain… this is it. I’m not sure why they changed the name from EQT Elevation to the adidas Crazy 97 but that’s what they’ve done so we will have to live with it.

Who is planning on grabbing a pair?

Hell YeazY…… i got my Laker shooting shirt Signed by 7 hot Laker girls back in the day in the hallway of the Forum!!! As far as I know the Purp CW never released and if you listen back to the slam D contest you can hear the color commentators comment on the purple kicks in a negative way. I had the Black CW purchasedd from the JC Penny catalog man were they a disspointment with that sloppy lockdown and sluggish midsole. I thought they were gonna be a follow up to Antoine Walkers but that didn’t happen then and I dont think they will be better now.

  4. this shoe will be available at adidas.com?

  5. had these when they first came out. they were released here in the islands and if i remember correctly, the stripes were made out of a sort-of reflective material? and the “hologram” on the tongue showed the feet you wear mascot and the adidas logo. (i don’t remember what was on the side “hologram” though–it may have been the same as what was on the tongue.) what i distinctly remember is that i felt that the midsole was too thin as playing long in them would make your feet hurt. plus as mentioned by KLO, the lockdown wasn’t really good. but i still want to get them should it be released again here.

Your on the Money, thats the way I remember them. A thin – ill cushioned midsole that i would rock 3 socks just to hoop. That said they are still cool looking, much better than those Chrome Porsche’s that will probably see the light of day again (WHY!) – I would pick up the Purple joints and i dont think they will be a sell out. Hell – noy i could insert some Kobe system ‘s or j 2009′ or dare to insert the J 2011’s to improve the midsole
