adidas Basketball Debuts ‘Year of the Snake’ Collection

In celebration of Chinese New Year, adidas basketball introduces a new collection paying homage to the “Year of the Snake” which includes the D Rose 3.5, a retro version of the iconic TMAC 1 and adizero Crazy Light 2. This collection is inspired by symbolic “Year of the Snake” gold and turquoise colors and snake-scaled style elements.

TMAC 1 “Year of the Snake” signature shoe is a new take on the modern classic and has a sleek metallic upper that features a perforated toe box for an eye-catching look. Two-time NBA scoring champion, seven-time NBA All-Star and the shoe’s namesake Tracy McGrady is no stranger to China and currently plays for the Qingdao Eagles of the Chinese Basketball Association.

The super lightweight adizero Crazy Light 2 “Year of the Snake” features a scaled upper and shades of gold and turquoise, as well as SPRINTWEB and SPRINTFRAME for optimum performance.

D Rose 3.5 “Year of the Snake” features a black synthetic SPRINTWEB upper with a textured, scale pattern to represent a snake’s detailed skin. The SPRINTFRAME is chrome, metallic gold to stand out on court.

The TMAC 1 ($100), adizero Crazy Light 2 ($140) and D Rose 3.5 ($180) Year of the Snake collection is available now at adidas Basketball.
