adidas Adds Four WNBA Stars to its Basketball Roster

Today, adidas beefed up its basketball roster with four WNBA stars.

2016 WNBA MVP and Finals Champion Nneka Ogwumike of the Los Angeles Sparks will join her sister, 2014 Rookie of the Year, Chiney Ogwumike of the Connecticut Sun. 2016 WNBA Finals Champion Chelsea Gray of the Los Angeles Sparks and Alexis Jones, the No. 12 overall pick of the 2017 WNBA Draft by the Minnesota Lynx, are also joining adidas’ basketball ranks.

According to adidas, the Ogwumike sisters, Gray, and Jones will join the ranks of an adidas basketball roster that features 2016 WNBA Finals MVP Candace Parker of the Los Angeles Sparks, Moriah Jefferson of the San Antonio Stars, Imani Boyette of the Chicago Sky, and Morgan Tuck of the Connecticut Sun.

The new additions to the adidas roster will lace up the Crazy Explosive for the debut of the 2017 WNBA season and be featured in upcoming brand campaigns and activations.

    After they lost that uniform contract, it looks like they are putting that money into signing more athletes

  2. Too bad for them that they missed out on Kelsey Plum. Plays just like Harden and we probably would have seen some cool marketing for that.
