Is this website in SLAM? Could you do a performance review on the Lunar Force 1’s or the Kobe 8 System Elite? Thanks man and keep up the work.

  • March 22, 2012 at 9:39 am Toni

Your bringing a breath of fresh air into the sneaker game with getting into the kicks on a deeper level past all the hype and I know we all appreciate that. Just continue being you and we will continue to support the grind.

  • March 31, 2012 at 10:15 pm Jay

Awesome reviews! Keep it up. Today at Footlocker the sales person encouraged me to buy Court Grip. He stood by his product saying it was selling like hot cakes. I told him, the product is not fooling anybody, you better check your ass to see nightwing2303 on YouTube..

Maybe Footlocker can use you as sneaker products class 101?

  • April 9, 2012 at 8:57 pm sam

  • April 13, 2012 at 10:09 am Stiff

Thanks to you I bought the Fly Wade 2s (my old Hyperize snapped at one lacehole). I have got to say thanks to you for that review – I’ve worn them half a dozen times now and they are the best performing shoes I’ve ever had.

Keep it up – you’re my first port of call now to see if you’ve covered a shoe I am considering.

  • April 16, 2012 at 2:56 pm Jaime

I really love your reviews. My knowledge over sneakers has greatly improved. I started to learn about the little things that make a shoe great. Thank you for that! Keep up the good work. :)

  • April 24, 2012 at 6:12 pm Jackson

I really appreciate your time and hard work in creating your performance reviews. They provide a basketball player with the performance features and options in purchasing the right shoe for the individual. Many thanks and all the very best to you.

  • May 3, 2012 at 1:55 pm Jeremy

I just saw your youtube channel back in 2 months ago and i feel you doing a great job to review all those shoes from different perspective and the most important you review them as their function and performance not just basicly looks, material, or prices range , etc.

by the way i live in china these days and i can help you get the shoes that didn’t release in US. maybe if u need me u contact me right away and assure you the shoes is not counterfeit, fake, high quality fake, etc. just want to give you a hand :)

  • May 5, 2012 at 5:13 pm Brad

hey, you got some nice reviews. I was wondering, take price out of the equation. Would you prefer the melo m8, howard 2’s, or another bball shoe? performance wise.

Keep doing your thing NightWing, keep us informed about the DRose3s they’re looking pretty dope.

  • June 5, 2012 at 1:25 pm Jaime

    Hey Nightwing :)
Which is a better performer: Nike Zoom Huarache 2k4 or Nike Zoom KD 4?
Also, is Nike Dunk a good performer? I just got one that is full leather but with pretty thick mesh layers on the side walls.. It’s regular Dunks though, no zoom or whatsoever..

    • June 5, 2012 at 11:07 pm Nightwing2303

The dunk will play like the AJ1. For the others just check the reviews and compare.

      • June 6, 2012 at 7:03 am Jaime

        Thanks :)

  • June 19, 2012 at 12:49 pm Jon Zuccala

  • June 21, 2012 at 7:17 pm HappyFeet23

    Hey Nightwing,

wanted to get a pair of Lebron 9 elites for a while but was pretty busy lately. Have been wondering is there any stores where i could directly just buy them from. Footlocker, Finishline, champs, etc… Or do I have to order it online from one of their websites.

    Thank You!

    • June 27, 2012 at 12:14 am Nightwing2303

Depends on your location, just call the stores to find out.

  • June 27, 2012 at 2:18 pm HappyFeet23

Thanks man, hoping to get them soon

  • July 7, 2012 at 6:25 am Cade P3

Ever since I first saw one of your videos on the AJ 2012 I watched more and more go your vids and thoroughly enjoyed them all. I play basketball at my high school in MN and always wait for your reviews on shoes before I make my purchase. I also loved the performance sock video as well. this year I went with the Lunar Hyperdunks after seeing your opinion on the teaser. I really appreciate all your work you do for the actual player in mind! Thanks

  • July 18, 2012 at 11:18 pm sam pasti

hey nice videos… just want to ask which are better shoes for a quick point guard. the kobe 7s or the jordan 2012?

    • July 20, 2012 at 8:58 pm Nightwing2303

You would know if you watched or read the review.

  • July 21, 2012 at 8:17 pm Dominic

Hey I love your videos I just wanted to ask are you going to review the Jordan Wade D’Reigns and Do you if Jordan will come out with a Fly Wade 3

  • July 25, 2012 at 2:17 pm bballkido

Hey Nightwing, I’m a bit curious on what your job is and how you’re able to balance work and working on your site.

  • July 27, 2012 at 7:20 am Daniel

Stumbled onto your videos and just wanted to say thank you for all you do! I am much more informed on the choices out there and ended up getting the Fly Wade 2’s based on your review — which are amazing for me.
Your “Court Grip” review was invaluable also!
    Outstanding quality!

  • August 6, 2012 at 10:44 pm Handler1

How often do you play every week? Also i need a good outdoor shoe. Thanks for the reviews.

  • August 25, 2012 at 1:39 am Walter

I watch all of you videos nightwing2303. Your videos were one of the major reasons I got into basketball back in 2010. Since than I became a sneakerhead thanks to your inspiration. I can’t thank you enough.

  • September 12, 2012 at 5:47 am Hoop In The BackYard!

Keep up the good work bro! I use to go to back in the days before they just stopped doing reviews, im thinking that what it use to be called, but yeah man, a fan of the page and like what your doing man! Mad Props!

  • September 13, 2012 at 4:08 am Seth

Your responses are classic. Exactly how I would respond. Does anybody take the time to read a review or watch a video anymore? (or even pay for their own shoes..what a concept) Like I said…I have followed your videos and reviews since your inception and on any matter you give the most detailed inforative reviews with a plethora of content. As owner of 20 pairs of current shoes (for basketball…as this is not 1988 and basketball shoes are not a fashion accessory anymore:) Probably have owned 50+ in my life on courts. Your insight is great either negative or positive about the product in question and cover all bases without corporate influences. (No, I am not a lawyer:) You are a credit to your passion and I get mocked (by friends and fellow players) for my interest in the perfect bball shoe. (the holy grail) Ok…this is a bit long and kiss ass…but Great Stuff! I appreciate it. Lebron Xs are in my future…hopefully the Elite will have a wider more stable base and 10 out of 10 Keep on Ballin…you provide a great service
    -Thanx again

  • September 17, 2012 at 10:31 pm MIKE

    Hey Nightwing,

Nice video on the lebron x. You put on an impressive show at the end. One thing; as of now the two color ways coming up look decent for the lebron X. But i prefer a less flashy color way. Do you have any info or websites i can look at to see if there are any color ways coming at us soon that are not a limited release. Keep doing your thing man!

  • October 4, 2012 at 4:51 am Bo

Hey man, like your videos! Respect!

  • October 18, 2012 at 6:00 am Jeff

Please keep up the good work. The enthusiasm, detail, and objective perspective is second to none. Only information I feel you can add is state your weight, height, and shoe size somewhere for viewers to use as reference. Much appreciated.

  • October 24, 2012 at 9:04 pm James

Great videos bro, don’t think you have much competition to be honest. You put a great amount of detail into your reviews. Also your shoot around at the end of each video is a nice way to put icing on the cake. I could see you have a true passion for this field in basketball shoes. Just one question. When is the “pressure Lebron x color way coming out? KEEP UP THE GOOD STUFF.. thx

    • October 24, 2012 at 9:12 pm Nightwing2303

Thanks, appreciate the support. Not sure what colorway you are asking about though. Jade? Those release November I think. I dont know of any other ‘special’ colorways other than the Dunkman.

  • October 24, 2012 at 11:03 pm James

I see, forgive me, I was thinking about the black and red color way (not sure what its called) which I believe is the away color for the Heat. The Dunkman and Jades look nice but the only problem might be getting them since they are limited releases. I would be fine on just getting my hands on a pair of the Lebrons as easy as possible. Sorry for the trouble and thx for the help. Oh and my support is with you as long as you keep doing your thing man! Looking forward to the start of the NBA season!!!

  • October 28, 2012 at 7:51 pm mie

keep up the great work bro

  • December 23, 2012 at 6:26 pm Walzyr

I love the game of basketball and now that I’m in my mid 30’s I can’t afford to buy all the shoes that seem to perform well on the court (with kids slashing our budget). Thanks to your reviews I made great decisions and great buys on great performing shoes. Keep doing what you’re doing. Your passion inspires us to keep playing. Happy Holidays!

  • December 25, 2012 at 12:37 am Robert

Hey Nightwing, did you ever play basketball in high school?

  • December 26, 2012 at 3:44 am Lincoln

Hey Nightwing, in the Lebron X shoe review, what size were you wearing?

  • December 29, 2012 at 8:48 pm Gary k

What are some good websites to order shoes online?

  • December 30, 2012 at 2:04 am Nickeh

I just happened to “bump” into your channel a few days ago and I really instantly liked it. You are doing a great job, keep it up!

  • January 1, 2013 at 12:21 am Ant V

Thanks for your “work” on the performance reviews. The 2012 “best of” vid was really helpful… any chance you have a list of sites for best prices/selection on shoes?

  • January 4, 2013 at 6:56 am Matt

Hey man, I just wanted you to know that your work is truly appreciated and I am extremely glad that I found your site that I have now been on for 3 hours straight!

    • January 4, 2013 at 6:58 am Matt

Two grammar mistakes in the first line, buddy.

  • January 25, 2013 at 9:41 am Trevor Jordan

You actually change my decisions in buying shoes. But my friends don’t like to buy Rose 3 coz it’s ugly. So I choose KD V instead. But I tell ya, KD V is truly a top 6 in your opinion. You suck

  • January 26, 2013 at 1:04 am stanley o'neal

what are the best shoes for high jump??????and congratulations for your great work review

  • January 29, 2013 at 5:02 am Jamflora

Agree your reviews are the best. You get straight to the point. I can’t even watch other reviews. Excited to hear shoe companies are you hooking you up. I can’t wait for the Air Jordan XX8 review. Keep up the good work.

  • January 30, 2013 at 4:39 am jeremy

I love what you do i love your reviews and everything this is pretty awesome how you run your own website and its big, but would kickgenius have anyhing to do with this??

  • February 6, 2013 at 2:51 pm Icehart29

Sir Nightwing..i just want to ask a question: if which of the two kicks would you prefer to use or buy to be used in basketball again if you had previous ankle injury before..and that was my case.. the Jordan CP3 6 or the Addizero D.rose 3.5?
The love for the game is always there..and cant resist some old friends to play again..and a league on our country sooner or later starts.. Thak you so much Sir Nightwing.

  • February 19, 2013 at 9:54 am Calvin

    I love all your reviews!
I pick my kicks pretty much based on all your reviews.
So i came across this question.
I like how you have ranking for the sneakers each year…but I am now struggling between getting the M9(I want the BHM colorway but its all out already for my size, might go with the black/pink one) and getting the LBJX(Volt/grey thats coming out later this month). I can see that M9 is having a pretty high ranking in 2013, and as I remember, LBJX is also having a pretty decent ranking in 2012.
I tried both and i like them both, but can only choose one.
Ankle support is one of my major concern now after I sprained it once (I will wear ankle brace with them no matter which one I choose).
So I am just wondering if you can give me some opinion on which one to choose…
    Thanks a lot :)

  • February 24, 2013 at 6:29 am Brad

Hey NightWing what site do you preorder your shoes at?

  • February 24, 2013 at 10:37 pm Eric

Really like the reviews, you have great knowledge on all of the sneakers you review. I am wondering though which is the better overall shoe the melo m9 or the cp3 6? Thanks!

  • March 3, 2013 at 1:19 am bob

are planing to do a review on the rose 3.5, crazy fast, and the howard light, thanks for all the reviews you do they are really helpful, Keep up the good work.

  • March 3, 2013 at 4:35 am mark

how long did the lunarlon foam last in the kobe’s or the hyperdunk 2012s ???

  • March 17, 2013 at 11:25 pm konstantin

greetings from a fellow sneakerhead in Greece !
many thanks and a lot of respect on all the hard work and time you spend to do what you do.there is a different kind of question i’d like to ask:

    which city you live in?
what’s the temperature variations throughout the year?
the outdoor courts are all like the one in your performance vids?
and finally what’s the story about the indoor courts, again like the one at the beginning of your vids, there are enough of them for people who want to play even if they are not part of a team?
hope you don’t judge my curosity too hard, i am only interested in the games’conditions in the US.
should you not find the time to answer or find all the above a little weird, that’s ok, i understand.
looking forward to your reviews, keep up the good work!

  • March 20, 2013 at 10:54 am Gursher Gill

    Hey Nightwing!!
I just wanted to tell you that I am a HUGE fan of your work. Even though 90% of the sneakers and products you review don’t hit retailers here in India, your reviews have really helped me and my friends with a couple of purchases. I make it a point to tell any baller I meet to check your site out before buying a particular shoe or product. Hats off to you sir :D!!

  • March 24, 2013 at 2:59 pm Justin

    To: Nightwing2303
I know you won’t do a review to this but a lot people say that they’re nice and really comfortable, and others say they’re bad cause they’re uncomfortable, they’re the Nike Air Visi Pro III NBK’s, so I know you’re the only person that I trust cause you always make a perfect shoe review, I’ve been liking your videos, subscribed already, so if you could please do review on these? I wasn’t really wanting an overpriced shoes, but they’re only for $65, I’m going to have a practice these April and I don’t know what shoes under $80 I could use. Please do a review on the Nike Air Visi Pro III NBK. Oh and the Neon Green with Grey and Black colorway are cool.

  • May 14, 2013 at 3:59 am Wyatt

Hey nightwing2303 where do u get most of your shoes?

  • May 15, 2013 at 4:22 pm Alex

Great to see your top ten list again. They are many of us who truly appreciate your work and enjoys your review. I bought Lebron X after your review and every game I play, I know I made the right choice cause of you!

Keep up the good work and don’t mind some nobody behind keyboards….

  • September 12, 2013 at 3:13 pm Dennis

Loving the new theme on the website! Much cleaner look. A lot easier to read stuff! The wood on the background is cool, but would be much cooler if it was hardwood of a basketball court. Or maybe not, it might make it look cheesy. Either way, well done, bro!

  • September 23, 2013 at 1:21 am Myke

Great and very useful reviews!!! Thanks for all your hard work!

  • September 25, 2013 at 6:25 pm Collin Castellaw

    Hey Nightwing!

First off just want to say I LOVE your work and ALWAYS check your vids before buying a new pair of hoops shoes! Keep up the great work as always :)

Secondly I have business proposition and was curious if you have an email or contact that would be better. I don’t want to spam up your comments section so hit me up if you are interested. Just love doing business with people that inspire me!

Thanks for the time and I hope to hear from ya!

quick question, I sprained my ankle last week and it looks like it was a fluke accident (mis-step trying to stop; haven’t had a sprained ankle in like 10+ years). I’ve been playing in the DRose 1.5s now for a few years 2-3 times a week so I know what I can do in them. The courts were super grippy which is why I think it’s not the shoe, just a stupid mistake on my part.

Having said all that, do you have any other recommendations as far as shoes go that I can try out for support?

I’ve hooped in AJ2010 and AJ2011, the Howard 2s, DRose 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 but have always enjoyed and come back to the 1.5. I’m afraid that I will sprain my ankle again which is why I’m asking for some recommendations.

    Thanks for reading

  • October 17, 2013 at 6:45 pm Dennis

    Hi Nightwing2303,

I really wanted to get the Li Ning Turningpoint. I live in Auckland, New Zealand and unfortunately we don’t have wide array of basketball shoes here. It is mainly Nike, Jordan and Addidas brands. But basketball is starting to pick-up here. Can you recommend any online shop where I can pick one up? I know it’s an old model but I wanna test it out first before I buy Wade’s signature shoes. Thanks!

By the way, your reviews are great keep them coming. I always check your reviews before I buy my shoes. Your attention to details in your reviews are impeccable. Keep them coming!

  • October 18, 2013 at 4:41 pm Blake Heck

Hey Nightwing, do you believe the Jordan Six Rings performance model will perform similar to the Jordan 13?

  • October 30, 2013 at 11:13 pm Y1nyAnG$taH

Thanks man for all the killer reviews. They really helped. I bought the new hyoerdunks and im really enjoying them. Do u prefer zoom air or lunarlon?? Is herringbone mulidirectional?? Thx

    • October 30, 2013 at 11:21 pm Nightwing2303

Appreciate it! I like both, Lunarlon and Zoom. Herringbone is multidirectional in a way.

  • October 30, 2013 at 11:15 pm Y1nyAnG$taH

Oh yeah and congrats on the finish line contract. Shit happens when you put hardwork and love for something together. Thx 4 all the reviews and keep up the good work man!!!!!!

  • November 24, 2013 at 8:19 am David Jeremy

nightwing, i am currently using the adidas d rose 3.5, and i love how light and how flexible it is. however, i primarily play outdoors and found that the traction is not so durable and i feel like there’s not enough cushioning. i am a point guard, 62kg, 176cm. i am looking for a new shoes and wondering what would be the perfect shoes for me. i am considering whether to buy the air jordan xx8 se, the jordan superfly 2, or the jordan cp3.vii. please let me know what you think. thx

  • December 1, 2013 at 3:33 am Marcus Saguiguit

    Hey Chris

Just wondering what you suggest between Lebron XI or Jordan XX8 SE for a guard position? Or hold off until the Kobe 9 comes out

  • December 17, 2013 at 10:24 pm zach

Hey I was just wondering in your opinion what shoe would be best for me, I’m a 5’7 pg/sg and i was looking at the cp3 7’s and AU Anatomic Spawns. I’ve watched performance reviews on both and just can’t decide, also any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I would love to get your opinion on the best shoe out there that offers the BEST ankle support. I’m 6’0, 240lbs and I play both 3 and 4. My left ankles hurt every after game. Pretty sure it’s my weight. Hope to hear back from you.

Just want to say that I love your reviews, by fare the best I have seen. But I was hoping that you could do a review on the puma disc blaze cage. Any color way as long as it is the cork ones, I think they have like 3 color ways. I know you do basketball shoes but I really think they look cool but before I buy them I would like to see how you feel about them as a casual shoe, maybe even a running shoe. Thnx

Thanks for all time and work put into doing all the reviews and video posts! I enjoy watching them and find them very helpful in choosing shoes. I like collecting shoes and designing them as a hobby.

By the way, your “megazord” video was hilarious. I work as an illustrator and in animation. I recently finished this piece and thought as a sneak head you would like it:

    Hey mate,

A fan from Australia. Just wanting to know your opinion on the Jordan XI Lows that are releasing. I already have the White/Black/True Red that were released last year (your review on this pair turned me into a fan of yours), so now deciding on whether to get the Concord Low or Space Jam Low OR wait for the Christmas Holiday release…. Thoughts? I know its subjective but you opinion matters.

Keep doing what you’re doing… greatly appreciated!

Awesome blog… Keep up the good work!

I bought the LeBron XI after watching your video review. They’re on sale now in Europe (30% off) so it was kind of a no-brainer… Can’t wait to wear them on the court!

Love what you’re doing. Keep up the good work!
