You know what? I would rock with these because tigers are dope and there isn’t another performance pair of kicks that look like these. I thought for sure I’d get the Silver 4.5s, but it’s up for discussion now. I went with the Rose “year of the snake” 3.5s black/turquoise/gold last year, so you have an idea that I opt for the limited colorways.
My guess is that it pays homage to his college team, the University of Memphis Tigers.
That’s actually a good guess, but I think that it is a coincidence that tigers are predators and his alma mater mascot. Else I think that we would’ve seen the stripes in Memphis blue.
Yes I also do not think Memphis gave them much inspiration or else there would have at least been some blue accents, but I don’t think they would have given the shoe blue stripes cause then it is just a blue and black striped shoe that wouldn’t scream out tiger like these.
They look nice but if you ball in them you getting injured Adidas even said d rose injuries was because of the shoes there performance models have like almost no cushion and are not good shape for the foot Adidas shoes are ass
the injury was not caused by the shoes, you don’t tear your ACL or meniscus because of a shoe lacking cushion, nightwing even explained that.
